Fleet
We run a specialized fleet of grain hopper cars. We don't supply general-purpose gondolas for grain: it's about protecting the cargo, not saving money.
Why a hopper car
A grain hopper car has an enclosed body with sealed hatches and gravity discharge through the bottom hoppers. That matters for an export lot.
- Protection. Grain doesn't absorb moisture or blow away in transit.
- Unloading speed. A group unloads in hours, not days.
- Cleanliness. The body has never carried coal, ore or fertilizer.
- Acceptance. Buyers on export routes require hopper cars.

The fleet mix is for demonstration and will be replaced with actual company data. We use covered wagons for flour, cereals and bagged products.
Preparation for loading
Before supply, each car is inspected: body cleanliness, hatch and seal integrity, no foreign odour. An unfit car is replaced before loading.
Loading and sealing
We check even loading and the weight of each car, seal the top and bottom hatches and record seal numbers on the waybill.
Repair and maintenance
Scheduled repairs are done at accredited depots. Cars nearing the end of their service life are taken off food cargo in advance.
